Hi,

How the compression is processed in a file transfer, is it in real time (compresses some portion and send that portion)? Or compresses all and send after?

the compression plugin only works on the XMPP channel, so it compresses when you use inband bytestreams, but not when you use the default out of band (socks) bytestreams
