Hi Eric,

I am trying to customize the look and feel of Jeti as follows. I have seen the docs on, 'Look and Feels', but am wondering if it makes more sense (effort-wise) to simply add my own theme plugin (similar to metaltheme), and manually re-arrange the Applet buttons, and so on? Attached please see my target look.

Thanks,
BEA

The look and feels do not affect any button positions, only how they look.
If you can make a plugin like metaltheme that would be best as full blown themes can be quite big. I made the metal them specially for the small jeti applet so it can be modified without adding much extra bytes.

If you need more modifications the TinyLaf might be an option:

it has a nice editor to modify a lot of options.

If you use jeti only on Java 5 and higher you might look at the synth look and feel: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Synth_Look_and_Feel
